Clear service indicator on SID

A quick and easy guide on how to clear the service indicator on Saab 9-3.

Up to year 2004

1. When “Time for service” shows up on the SID, press the CLEAR button once.
2. Then hold the CLEAR button until it says SERVICE on the display. It takes about 20 seconds. Now the service indicator is reset!

Year 2004 and forward:

1. When “Time for service” shows up on the SID, press and hold the CLEAR button until SERVICE appears on the display. It takes about 20 seconds. Now the service indicator is reset!
