Oil change

590015We recommend that you always choose the original oil (GM Genuine) during an oil change since Saab has very sensitive engines. If you choose to go with anything other than the original oil it’s very important that the oil meets the specifications for GM LL-A-025 / GM LL-B-025.

These two types of oil are used for Saab 9-5:

  • Fully synthetic 0W-40 only for 9-3/9-5 TTiD
  • Fully synthetic 5W-30 for the rest (both petrol and diesel)
